Routes for Club Run 17th November

As usual there are three club runs to chose from this week, the routes are

Long   L17  66 miles
Medium   M5  40 miles
Short  S3  30 miles

Having ended 2018 with 164 members it is encouraging to note that so far in 2019 (20/6/19) 143 wise and sensible people have made one of their best investments for the year by renewing or joining the Club for the first time. Thanks to all including 12 new members  who have done so and we now look forward to many more following their fine example.   2018 matched 2017 when we had 165 members a. It was agreed at the AGM in November that if sub paid before 31/1/19 cost was £20 and £25 for existing members if paid after this date

The 2018 Membership Year has ended and you should think about renewing again for 2019. .Despite a few more under 40's and 30'sj joining us the  average age remains at around 43 .

2019 , like 2018 promises to be a busy year for the Club and we look forward to seeing as many of you on the road as possible and all this for only £20.

  • TT Results for 29th August 2019

    Murphy is 2019 Handicap TT Champion

    Simon Murphy took a 14 point lead over Simon Elkington at the start of the last TT of the 2019 season this evening. This has been the most closely contested finish to a TT season for a number of years and before tonight Simon M had posted 7 PBs taking his PB at the start of the season down from 27:43 to 25:12 an improvement of 2:31 over the past 18 weeks.

  • September Family Ride - Sunday Sep 8th

    September's ride will be held on Sunday 8th September 2019. Meet in the Market Square at 9am for a ride on route 51 up to Grafham Water via Hail Weston and return leg via Offord.

  • TT Results for 22nd August 2019

    One PB for best Season finish

    Another week of warm, dry and slightly better wind conditions than previous weeks were on hand to greet the 12 riders ready to test themselves on the challenging 11.2-mile SNCC TT course this evening, although PB’s were hard to come by as we head towards the end of 2019 season.
