Being the first race of the season I was nervous about handling myself in a relatively large pack.

Therefore I kept myself towards the front to stay out of trouble. From there I spent the race chasing attacks, and racing as hard as I could. Unfortunately, I spent too many matches early, so when the race winning move went at about 35 mins I was unable to follow. That move of two riders stayed away till the end and the rest of us sprinted it out for the remaining places.

As for upcoming races me and Fran are still wondering whether to enter the race at the Bowl this weekend. 

After this it'll be either the ECCA 10 mile TT on the E2/10 (if it goes ahead) or the NCRA spring handicap road race on 18/03/2023 then the first round of the NDCA TT series on the F15/10 on 25/03/2023.
