SNCC/HoSN HELL of ST. NEOTS - April (PostPoned)
This event is in homage to the great Paris Roubaix. We ride the same day on a 60 mile route north of St Neots and aim to finish back at the Royal Oak, Hail Weston in time to what the conclusion of the official ride whilst eating Frites & Mayonnaise, what's not to like? The route will be challenging, primarily on roads but with a few off road sectors to liven things up. All you need is a road bike, an outgoing character and some spare tubes.
It is rumoured that Jacob Hennessey is in charge of this years event and that he will personally repair every puncture, what an offer!
Route and start location to follow, but clear your diary for this epic ride.
SNCC HELL of ST. NEOTS - 11th October 2020 (Gent-Wevelgem)
This year we have a special guest on the Hell on St Neots, Jake Hennessy. In honour of Jake winning the 2017 Gent-Wevelgem U23 race, SNCC is putting on our very own Hell of St Neots on the same day the pro's are riding the 2020 Gent-Wevelgem.
This year you have three routes to choose from...
(1) is a short 30 mile road circuit
(2) is a 50 mile road circuit
(3) is the Hell of St Neots full monty, 60 miles involving some off tarmac sectors (including Jake's favourite near Holme) that may require some focus, but certainly not fear, please note even this route is 90% on road (and 10% on adrenaline)
The whole event is built around fun and fellowship, therefore all routes finish at The Royal Oak, Hail Weston at 11:45-12:00 for a good catch up and story telling afterwards. Rumour has it there may well be some beer, frites and mayo as well.
Have fun, see you there and don't forget to download your chosen route.
