Friday 2nd April 2021 saw the running of the 2021 Hot Cross Bun Run return to its traditional Good Friday date.

Just under forty members and guests enjoyed the first SNCC annual event of the year, with everyone in high spirits and embracing the simple fact they could group ride again, following the lifting of recent restrictions just four days prior.

With two routes to choose from, riders could select a 55 mile route via Oundle or a 37 mile route via Winwick.

Following a slightly different format, riders didn’t have a central café stop in Oundle, but four to choose from to ensure social distancing was observed. This worked well and some riders also elected to have coffee together on their return to St Neots at the Market Café.

Our thanks to everyone that made this years’ event as social as ever. Our rule of six grouping was observed impeccably and it was a joy the see the SNCC Jerseys out there riding again. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you again on this Sunday’s club run.
