SNCC chose the St John's Hospice, Sue Ryder, Moggerhanger as their charity for the Sportive and as a consequence to receive the profits from the Big Night Out (AGM and Awards Night). St John's Hospice were pleased that we chose them and over the course of the year we have built up a good relationship.

Both myself (Norman King) and Gary Adnitt have seen them to discuss our partnership. The Sportive realised a very generous £1,000 and this was well received by them. Gary proposed that the BNO profits also went to the St John's Hospice, as a consequence and after some persuasion from Gary through a attending the BNO, quiz, Wattbike challenge etc we raised another £554.14. Gary and I went over to St John's Hospice on 19th Nov to present them with the cheque. They are very pleased with this additional amount. So thank you to all who contributed to this worthy charity. Next year we will be outriders for a St John's Hospice 5K colour run which will take place on Sun 29th Mar starting in Priory Park. We will be looking for 2 fast people to ride ahead of them.
