5 PB’s with Pillinger fastest home on the night!
This was the second SNCC TT of the season and 27 riders enjoyed testing themselves on the 11.2 mile Abbotsley course on a wonderful warm and dry evening.
First home this evening was Nic followed by one of our regular guest riders, Andrew, and in third place a former club member Mark.
5 PBs this evening and chapeau to Simon, Richard, Daniel, David and Norman for all improving their respective PBs.
The two Father and Son tussles continued from last week with young Daniel reversing last week’s result by one second over his father and for the Bond boys it was a draw this week and congratulations to both the sons for posting PBs on the night.
Our thanks once again to Mandy , Colin and John for the excellent time keeping and recording which allows us all to take part and enjoy the evening. Mandy’s cakes were delicious as always.

Handicap Results
Quick reminder that for the Handicap Trophy points are awarded for the number of riders on the night less Guests and First Time Members. So tonight 27 riders and 24 points on offer. A Handicap Time of 25 minutes or less means that you have either matched your PB or improved on it. A Handicap Time greater than 25 minutes shows how much you are off your PB.
To be in contention to win the 2018 Handicap Trophy you need to do as many TTs as you can and ride as close to or improve on your PB consistently until the end of the season.
On the night David took the maximum points with a 2:16 improvement on his 2017 time , followed by Norman ( on his new bike) finding another 39 seconds with Simon taking third spot with a 36 seconds improvement on his PB.
Bob on his second TT clearly knows how to pace the course delivering the same time form last week.
