TT Report 8th May 2014

For the 14 riders who turned up for tonight's TT the start of the course had to be moved to the other side of temporary traffic lights due to to work in the village resulting in a shortened course with the finish just over the top of the hill in the village near the Church. The consequence is that PBs cannot be awarded for this ride , however Handicap Trophy points were still on offer. 

Strong performances tonight from David, Simon and Christian depsite the strong head wind up to the golf course turn with David taking first spot on the evening with a 28.17. Good to see Steve Lyons and Mike Biggs out for their first TTs of the season. 

Handicap Trophy : Christian Tredidgo in his first season with the Club took the maximum 14 points on offer this evening to leave him on 33 points , however the clear leader at the moment and setting a high standard with 2 consecutive PBs is Simon Richardson with 44 points. 

The chasing pack are poised on his shoulder for any slip ups or missed TTs, however some are already saying that he may already have one hand on the 2014 Trophy!

Next TT: THURSDAY 15th MAY : NB - Start Time is 7.15pm with sign on by 7.00 pm at the latest.
