TT Results for 27th April 2017

The unpleasant conditions on Thursday were not enough to deter the 13 riders who braved the elements to take part in the first SNCC TT of 2017.

We were delighted to see a new member to the Club - Dave Salmon – getting his first taste of the Abbotsley course and a welcome back to Adrian Lewis who has been missing in action for the past couple of years and to an old friend of the Club – Dom Whitehead – who has been riding the course for many years now.

Nic Pillinger was fastest on the night followed by Simon Rinaldo and Matt Van Boss in second and third place.

Given the conditions it was unlikely that there would be any PB’s on the night, however congratulations to Simon Elkington for taking over a minute from his Personal Best (PB) and to take the maximum points on the evening.

Here is a quick reminder that for the Handicap Trophy points are awarded for all number of riders on the night less Guests and First Time Members. So tonight 13 riders and 11 points on offer. A Handicap Time of 25 minutes or less means that you have either matched your PB or improved on it.

Another 17 TTs plus the Ashman to go before we know who will be the 2017 Handicap Trophy winner.

Let’s hope that the weather is dry and warm this Thursday.
