Terry Davies Update

Have spoken to Chris the lady looking after Ryan Terrys son
She told me that terry have been moved to a ward for tonight
and they plan to check on his elbow tomorrow to see what damage he done to it.
When i was there he was saying about his left hand side hurt but i told him that is the side you came down hard on.
He was chatting to me saying he hoped to be back for this thursdays time trial
i told him maybe that might come a little too soon.
I am sure they also said that they was going to do a Ct scan just to double check there was no damage to him.
I will try to keep you all imformed the best i can

Just spoke to the ward sister and he's on his way to surgery (on his arm)
I'm going to visit this afternoon, if he's awake, so will update later.

Chris has just phoned me to say terry has gone down theatre to see what damage
He done to his arm.
But she also told me that today is a NO for visiting him as chris don't think
He will be up too seeing anyone today.

Hi All,
Ignoring everything else that's appearing on other threads!!!!!!!
I've been to see Terry D this afternoon (Tuesday) and he is expecting to be discharged later today.
Truth be told he probably shouldn't be but hey, thats the NHS for you.

He is also threating to be back on a bike for the TT!
(Im hoping he is joking!)

Just got back from hols and read all this, hopefully Terry will be back on his bike soon, anyone that sees him please pass on my best wishes.

It’s great to hear that Terry is on the mend and will soon be out of hospital but please spare a thought for Rich Broad who not only broke his right arm but also his left wrist in this spill. Rich will now be out of action for up to 8 weeks and to top it all, he also ripped his brand new St Neots CC Bib Shorts.
