trouble is that local club riders i presume would rather ride a 100 mile from St Neots and back, i for one would not drive over 100miles in a car (at what cost )pay £25 to ride on public roads.I am still prepared to help in the organisation a a CLUB ride as detailed above.. G...

There was talk of an organised club ride to Finchingfield and back, which comes in at a hundred. Ride london day would be an excellent day to do it.
There's plenty of cafes or pubs there and its spot on halfway round.
thats sounds great..everyone could come along and have a good day out for free just bring yourself and the bike..ah ah G..........

Lets do it, can you put a route together (please).
I have the route me and Mark B took to watch the TDF last year. A hilly(ish) outward journey with a flat return

Doing the dun run this year.
My plan (at the moment) for the return home is other get picked up or after 40 winks on the beach a gentle amble home with bail out options ar bury St Edmunds ,Newmarket and Cambridge.
Getting down there is easy, train to Finsbury Park then a short cycle to Hackney ( fixie, beard and hipsters not required )

Whilst back on topic I can see the ride 100 going the same way as the London marathon ...hardly any chance of getting a place unless you go the charity route.

Oh no people riding dressed as meerkats, nuns and fridge freezers.
Anyway the more riders the less enjoyable it is
Its really is complicated

Well I'm in on RL100
Finchingfield sounds a good ride, be a shame if it's the same day. I'm planning on doing a ride around Essex including Finchingfield and Blue egg Cafe this Sunday if I get dragged to the inlaws.
Also, Dun Run is on my list for the year, having had to bail on it for the past 2
