Regards riding the route, there are two options:

1. You can ride the route for free as a club ambassador. In this case you would be expected to ride in club kit (if you don't have kit let us know your size and we will try to find something). You will be expected to:

set a good example on the road,
be friendly / sociable with other riders,
provide mechanical support if required,
support anyone struggling/bonking,
in the unfortunate event of an incident, if you are first on the club rider on the scene, provide whatever assistance you can (even if it is just phoning Alistair, the emergency contact).
KNOW THE ROUTE
2. Pay and ride the route as a private rider. We would ask you don't ride in club kit to avoid any confusion with ambassadors
Finally, if you just want to do a normal club run, either start a thread on the forum or turn up at the Market Square as usual and sort something out with whoever else turns up!
cheers
Richard Ostler ;)
