Steve set a PB on Thursday, so he'll need to put in a very good ride. It's going to be tough for a lot of folk who've been putting in improving times, especially if the weather stays as forecast...

Agreed, but Steve R's on a mission at the moment and the inside intelligence says he's been putting in the miles and we all know what that means.

In any case I think it's brilliant that those who have joined us in the last nine months through Group 2 are tearing up the road.

Because the handicap is on current form, the fact is that anyone at all who is motivated and floats on the day could win it, especially those who have just established a handicap. It's gonna be close!
