ERYCS Alconbury - 30th July

Good morning all,
At the end of July St Ives CC will be hosting the local round of the Eastern Region Youth Circuit Series at Alconbury Wield, which I am joint event organiser for. Those of you who were at the Ixworth Crits at the early May Bank Holiday weekend would have seen the West Suffolk Wheelers round. While there will not be any senior racing going on we will have the usual youth age ranges plus a Junior Boys and Junior Girls races, the latter of which needs to grow more as currently Junior girls generally get thrown in with the usual E/1/2/3/4 Senior/U23 women races.

Entries can be found on the BC page as normal (www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details...16---Alconbury-Weald) and please feel free to come up even if your children aren't (yet) interested in racing. Because of the nature of the racing this is road bike focused though a CX bike with road tyres is also usable and a few have ridden with mountain bikes that have road tyres (knobbly tyres really not advisable!)

There's usually a strong showing from youth across the region from over on the East coast down to London's Lee Valley Youth and Beds Road/Ashwell nearer to home.
