Abbo TT 11th May'17

with our crack team of number-crunching boffins and IT winged-monkeys all having excused themselves from duty this week, please see below for an interim report & results, with series points to be calculated / awarded in due course:

It was the first sunny evening we had had so far this season and good weather usually sees an excellent turn out. 30 rides turned up to ride the 11.2k course and it was lovely to see so many new and old faces. It was nice to see Andrew Kluth back from his travels and we welcomed Norman King to our small but friendly group. James Tucker came out to see if he could beat his course record set last season and brought his partner who we might get to see riding the course once she’s back to full fitness.

Calm conditions meant that PB’s were a possibility and as it turned out a reality for 11 riders, so a massive well done to: Nic Pillinger, Keith Barton, Kevin Stokes, Andrew Knowles, Simon Elkington, Francis Sykes, Dave Richards, Hugh Walton, Dawn Parr, Dave Salmon and Adrian Lewis.

St Neots TT guys and girls would also like to wish a very happy 80th Birthday to John! We would be lost without him.

Finally, a reminder that unless we hear otherwise there will be roadworks on the course next week (25th) so no TT that evening unless we're told otherwise

My ride was 25:28 (and handicap stood at 0:33), so handicap time = 24:55

All 'provisional' until formally issued but will make sure all checked beforehand
