Travel Update
April 11, 2013
We know you’re keen to plan your weekend at the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 in August and we’re working hard to finalise a variety of travel options that will ensure everyone has a great day out at this exciting new event.
Getting to the start
We’re currently putting the final plans in place for you and the other Prudential RideLondon riders – along with your 20,000 bicycles – to get to the start on time and get home again after the event ends.
We’ll keep in touch as we finalise a variety of travel options, which will include Park & Cycle from designated car parks in London, drop-off locations where you and your bike can be dropped off by car and other options such as being able to post your bicycle to and from the event.
We are working with logistics companies so that bikes can be delivered to and collected from The Prudential RideLondon Cycle Show at Excel (where you’ll need to register and collect your timing chip) in the three days prior to the event. After the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, bikes will be collected from a location close to the finish and sent back to riders’ homes. More details will follow when available.
Start time
The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 will start at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London. Participants will set off between 06:00 and 08:00.
Your start time
We will be in touch in early June to let you know your individual start time for Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. Faster riders are likely to be set off earlier.
