Subscribing to forum

We'd like the forum to become a vibrant and useful facility for club members to communicate and in some cases to supplement channels like Twitter.

The problem is that there needs to a be a critical mass of posting to make it worthwhile checking in to see recent posts.

That's where subscribing to a category or a topic comes in. If you log in and navigate to a category, say this one, "General Club Chat", you will see a button marked "Subscribe". Click it, and future posts to that category will be e-mailed to the address you supplied when you created your account. So you can see whether there are new posts that interest you or that you might want to reply to. Do that for all the categories that you might be interested in. You can always follow the same procedure to unsubscribe if you wish.

If the forum becomes more active I will change the settings to reduce the number of e-mails subscribers receive.
