Inter-Club TT & HC Competition 2016

Becky (and everyone else) - normally entry is via the Beds Road 'book to ride' system, but as they seem to be struggling with getting it up & running, for this event if everyone who wants to ride can let me know via the club 'This email address is being protected from spambots. As ever, this is for everyone who wants to ride for the club, regardless of age, sex, equipment or ability.......although we do reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone in faux-denim jeggings (you know who you are). See previous threads for break-downs of the age ranges and mix of riders from other clubs; it really would be good to have not just as many riders as possible, but also a good cross-section of all members representing SNCC. From memory, the opening event last year saw a range of average speeds from around 14mph to 30+mph - if you're in that region (and you will be) you will fit right in

Results now finalised:

As you'll see, with Beds Road being somewhat clear of the field, the other clubs were more closely grouped, and we can hopefully look forward to building on this opener with only 30 points to make up on 3rd place Hichin Nomads and 100 to Ashwell in 2nd place. Students of Inter-Club facts will remember that we saw Icknield outscore us by 130 points in the last event of the series last year to move above us in the overall standings; as such, perhaps we should also be looking at reeling in Beds Road with four of the five events still to come..........

Is the roster full with regard to the inter-club HC this weekend? If not do you need another rider to fill the ranks? If so when or what do I need to do if anything apart from turn up?

Simon, just to let you know that one of the HNCC riders not knowing that he rode home with one the of the race numbers on his back. Should I get him to post back to you via his clubs TT organiser? I could arrange a hand over and then bring to a club ride if that is easier.
