looks good, although the talk of wristbands for priority service suggests it might be busy and that those without VIP privileges might be dangerously close to the Morris Dancing

I wonder how many VIP packages they have sold. Sounds good £10 for a free drink.

hi there having sat at the side of the road on a few occasions for up to 8 hrs only for the "Peleton" to swish pass in 30 second,,,i suggest that a ride out to the nearest spot would be appropriate, i can assure you that you will see nobody but 210 bike riders and a blurr of colour.... just being realistic !! not a defeatist ah ah i am up for any bike ride to see it though.G...

Start in Cambridge isn't until 12.30 so there would be time to check out things there in the morning then ride out to a better location to watch them fly past.
I'll be working there that day on a stand on the other side of Gonville Place with a great view of things :) , only problem is I'll be stuck there for the whole day :( .

Hi Gaddy quite right.see the peleton sign on,, have a quick look at the sky bus, then ride along the route until some guy shouts at you to "get off the road the Tour de Farce " is coming... you will see nobody after that except a blurr and wizz and they have gone ...give me a bell later next week will come with you..G

Hi

Me and a few others were planning a ride out and a watch be better in a group.

Has anything definitive been decided at all

If its genuinely a bit of a waste of time are we better of sacking the ride out and just going to Cambridge to see the buses etc.

Please let me know

Thanks

Arron. B)

hi there for me i would set off from the Mk Square at about 09.00 hrs..plod off to the start/ park area and suck and see..then ride down the route pick a good spot.(pub//beer.coffee etc ) and sit down and wait.it would be a good time to get to know each of us and have a good day out.. i can assure you it will be MANIC within 1to 2 kms of the start/sign on area...see ya. i am up for it.Geoff

Only problem with that is you can't ride down the route, makes no sense to me.
