Hello everyone,
Well things are getting interesting on the road to Higham Ferrars.
Three of us (Adrian, Wayne, and myself) met up as usual last night at Neros and set off into the wind towards Higham Ferrars.
At Chelveston, coming the other way, we pass Adrian Lancaster. We wave to each other, then a minute later we pass Mark Colmer coming the other way as well.
Is there a second (secret) chain gang I ask myself ?
We did our best to try and catch you both on the way back but failed miserabley so couldn't ask about this new secret society within our ranks !!
On a slightly more serious note I am hoping that a few more will start to turn out for the chain gang and if necessary we can split on the road into different groups going at the appropriate pace.

I'll probably start doing the chain-gang once I feel I've got a bit more pace.
When a passenger of the foot, hooves in sight, tootel the horn trumpet melodiously

Geoff, you are always so controversial !!
All I am doing is trying to encourage more riders to come out. If there are some faster riders and some that are less quick then fine, its no problem.
How does anyone ever get any better unless they put in the miles ?? There is no shame in being less quick.
Still looking forward to seeing you.

Tim, if you guys leave the markets square at 6:00 pm (prompt) and BOB's leave Buckden at 6:00 pm (as I did last night) we should meet up somewhere between Gt Staughton and Kimbolton. Try again next week?

Mark,
okay so we have been found out. We sat drinking coffee for at least 10 minutes after 6pm, so we didn't leave on time - you could always come down to St neots !

Oh I've just put the CD on. First impression are good - thanks.

Geoff, although I don't have a problem starting later, we should see what the others have to say.

Sorry due to work and holidays I can't make the Chain Gang for the next few weeks. I think 6:30 is a better time to start.
