Tandem wins, Hancock second

TT results 8th August 2013

The highlights this evening were 8 more PBs with Mark Greenhow pushing under 30 minutes for the first time and Daniel Hurst on his first visit to the course achieving a 28.27.

Good to see old friend of the club Kevin Stokes and Gerry Perry out on their tandem this evening turning in the best time. (Very nostalgic for your editor who used to time trial a tandem in the 70s).

18 points were on offer for the best handicap time and these were taken by Geoff Smith (at a mere 68 years of age) who has now moved his PB down to 27.37, followed by George Lendrum and Andy Holt with 17 and 16 points respectively who also posted PBs .

The final destination of the Handicap Trophy for 2013 remains uncertain with anyone in the current top five placings still capable of winning.
