20 riders took part in the Hot Cross Bun Run to the Tap & Kitchen at Oundle and the Holly Lodge cafe on Good Friday.
A stiff breeze and changeable weather meant for a tough 55 miles to Oundle and back. I was certainly struggling to keep the wheel riding for the first time since the dreaded “100 day cough”. Although, Dom Chapman did a great service pulling Stuart Williams and myself back most of the way from Oundle. Overall, a good ride as always and great to see a few faces out now that winter’s behind us.
