childrens university bikeability/goride was created by terry694
Watch this thread for upcoming level 1 hybrid bikeability/goride sessions in relation to the childrens university. It will include such information as venues and timings as well as I would hope regular updates.

South Cambs Council say they are looking to "help set up cycling groups in as many of out villages as possible" and looking to train people as instructors. Is it worth getting in touch to suggest they don't try to re-invent the wheel (no pun intended) but instead work with existing groups already doing this sort of thing? It doesn't seem as though they really know what they are trying to do, so maybe getting in early will mean we can help shape things rather than trying to fit into a pre-determined plan?

might be an idea to also advise of the number of South Cambs residents who are SNCC members?

Si its easier in my opinion to use existing training organisations and would have thought that south cambs were already signed up to bikeability. If they were interested in training up people for instance on a 1-1 basis then private lessons are always an option and probably better than group training in my experience as you gain more from it as you get more cycling time.

Terry - I've dropped her a quick e-mail suggesting she gets in touch to discuss what SNCC might be able to do for them (and hopefully vice versa!)
