Yorkshire Dales Trip

Update 02.04.20 -  Our 2020 trip has been deferred to 14-17th May 2021 and will give first refusal to those who have booked for 2020.  

This will be the 7^th year that the Club have trekked to the Dales Bike Centre in Reith to enjoy a weekend of different riding from the flatlands of Cambridge.

We arrive before 2pm on the Friday and the tradition is a run up to Tan Hill ( the highest pub in the UK) to stretch the legs and perhaps have a beer. On the Saturday we typically undertake a 60/70 mile run with at least 4,000 ft of climbing. The Sunday morning run is whatever you feel like doing, usually 25 miles along the valley for coffee. Friday and Saturday nights are a relaxed walk to the pub for a good meal, beverage and banter.

When we left last year we reserved the traditional weekend for 2020. We have already filled all 14 bunk beds (capacity) at the DBC with previous participants, see how popular this event is!

This event is open to every member. Although the DBC is full we are looking to find accommodaion nearby so we can up the numbers and include all members that would like to come and experience some amazing cycling, with the DBC being the centre for us.
