This event is in homage to the great Paris Roubaix Race.
This year the SNCC ride will be the same day as the official race but on a 55-mile route south of St Neots. To try and emulate the French classic (Queen of the Classics), our route is mainly on back roads but with five off road sectors on gravel / compacted earth bridleways, all rideable on road, cx or flat bar bikes. We'll finish at the Barley Mow, St Neots at around 11:30am for Frites & Mayonnaise and maybe a beer or two, what's not to like?
The route will be challenging, but as said previously, primarily on roads so all you'll need is a bike, an outgoing character and some spare tubes.
Please note you can ride a road, cx or flat bar bike on this ride.
See you there in the square at 08:30 on Sunday 3rd October 2021.
