NDCA Open F14/25 Guilden Morden...Event updates will appear here, latest 27.04.23...

We've had to take the difficult decision to cancel the event due to the condition of the road on some sections of the course and with no indication from the local highways authority that any requested repairs / maintenance works will be undertaken ahead of the day. 

it is possible the road could be repaired and the ditches and culverts cleared, we discussed with Northampton and District Cycling Association (NDCA) and Cycling Time Trials (CTT) ahead of making the decision. 

We will be looking at an alternative date &/or course for later in the season, but having also discussed with others taking similar decisions with the course in its current condition feel we are acting in the interests not only of rider safety but also fairness as the two-lap nature of the course could well mean riders having to slow down or stop to pick a safe route.

THE SAFETY OF COMPETITORS IS PARAMOUNT
