Cycle for Ukraine... Updated 28.05.23

Unfortunately, due to appalling weather we had postpone last Sunday’s (26.03.23)  ‘Cycle for Ukraine’ event.

We have now confirmed the rescheduled date of Sunday 18 June. For those of you that have donated/pre-registered, your entry will roll-over.

Along with St Ives CC, Bedford RCC, iCycle CC, Nice & Breeze-y, Icknield Road Club and the Hitchin Nomads we are planning a ‘Mass Ride of Solidarity’.

Club Volunteers Required...

We need a few volunteers to marshal the event and to man the signing on desk, please email the club ASAP if you can help?

We plan for the ‘Signing-on desk’ to be manned from 09:30 onwards.

Latest Event details...
Cycling clubs from Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, will be riding over to St. Neots market square on Sunday morning, to arrive at 10:30.

At 11:00 the mayor of St. Neots will see the first riders off on the 15 mile signed route using our TT course, route download here.

There will also be a short route for families, details of this to follow but we estimate it to be under 5 miles.

A minimum donation of £10/rider for the main ride and £5/rider for the family ride. Instead of a number card, each rider will be issued with a card with the flag of Ukraine on which can be attached to their handlebars.

It is planned for Club Members to have a short Sunday ride (08:30 to 10.30), returning in time to sign-in and take part in the ‘Cycle for Ukraine’.

Last online entry by 16:00 on Saturday please.
